My overall impression

Oscar Wilde’s play is one of the funniest of all time, and Queer Classics with Casey Kringlen at the helm has truly produced a fresh, funny, and poignant take on this classic. The cast is full of strong standouts with hilarious moments, and they bring energy, verve, and a love for the language to the stage. I had such a blast watching this show, and much of that is thanks to the direction, which keeps things moving in this snappy 90-minute version and fills it with hilarious moments. Most importantly, the reinterpretation feels like a no-brainer — something that Oscar Wilde absolutely would have done in his day if he were allowed. I can’t recommend this show highly enough. See it see it see it!
