This is a comedy with heart and wit that will keep you guessing even after the lights come up. Amy Tofte's story about a broken marriage is wildly imaginative and her cast makes her powerful writing come to life. Doc Farrow and Mandy Dunlap command the stage with their frustrated chemistry as a divorcing couple. Morris Nash and Esther Austin are a delight to watch as the twisted scientists having a steamy affair while torturing the divorcing couple. Leigh Kennicott's direction gives the production an additional spark of fun while allowing the funny but thought provoking story to really shine. This one is not to be missed. ...

This is a great fun look at a number of different conflicts in relationships, with a particularly twisted and fun set of plot twists. The story takes you through a completely outrageous approach to marital counselling (note to self: be nice to spouse so as not to have to do any of THAT!) and the cast is terrific. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish....

It's torture enough dealing with a dissolving marriage, but for the unwitting couple at the center of this lively play, emotional pain will soon become all too physical. Alternately funny and probing, Broken Panda is full of surprises, and the dialogue is sharp throughout. The excellent cast keeps the energy high. Check it out!...

This show absolutely blew me away. The relationship and the dialogue between the two main characters was both chillingly familiar to anyone who has had a traumatic break up and was also so sharp and wicked that it brought a brand new edge to it.
The dialogue and the language are so intensely written and so well performed that I felt completely immersed in these people story. I felt at the end that I been on their journey with them.
Smart, compelling and with a sly dark humor, can't recommend highly enough, brilliant

A really enjoyable play. In a very easy going manner, tells the story of a couple who lost their ability to understand each other. It illustrates through their views of themselves and the other characters, how perceptions can actually be misperceptions. Very well directed, written in a way that intrigues and relaxed, natural performances by a great cast....

Relationships are hard. The dizzy excitement of blossoming love cannot sustain and there are thousands of environmental factors that would keep it from growing UNLESS you can manage to keep them at bay. This funny and moving story examines the plight of a couple about to give in to those myriad destructive forces. Amy Tofte's writing is confident and clever as she guides her characters, Jay and Ellen, through a mediated divorce, supposedly the easy way out of their marriage. But, they soon discover the "easy way" isn't always the cleanest way and their situation devolves to hysterically farcical levels. I was thoroughly entertained and on the edge of my seat wondering what would become of these two....

Broken Panda…the writing is superb. I rarely laugh aloud at a piece of theater. This work had me cracking up and totally enjoying myself. Writer Amy Tofte weaves her witty dialogue and scenarios in such a fascinating way, cleverly creating layer upon layer. The humor is organic, which I so appreciated.
Personally, I felt the direction could have been tighter and more original. It didn't match the professionalism of the script.
Despite this, the actors and the script provided a wonderfully entertaining and insightful afternoon romp!...
