My overall impression
This was a magnificent performance by Arthur. To be taken on a most magical journey through the years of black revues-the words do not come easy. It was a powerful performance by an actor well aware of his instrument and how to bring his audience into his world. The history of black musicals or theatre for that matter is not often told & Arthur does it with love, knowledge, skill and passion. It is above & beyond-A must see!
