Believe me, this will be on your list of shows you'll regret not seeing from this year's festival, so just avoid the shame and embarrassment and GO SEE IT! I have gunk that has been deep in my lungs since I was a teenager that I laughed up on Friday night. A solo show, largely improvised and stunningly raw. It's a family affair with wacky parents, warring sisters, and a grandfather I'm pretty sure is like no one else. Hint: he gives his granddaughter a hand crafted gift that is meant to keep on giving but you won't want it to... The comedy of it is brilliant and the heart of it brutally honest. You should hear it and you should listen. ... full review

Jennifer Jasper is a really talented performer and storyteller. She had a great connection with the audience, and the world she created on the empty stage was rich and detailed. Her performance demonstrated that comedy and drama can live in the same moments.... full review

The woman is a force of nature- I laughed often, hard and so loud, as did everyone around me. The material is quirky and compelling and the show feels like a ride you just don't want to get off. I was delighted and mortified and was left wanting more. Kudos!... full review

Articulate. Hilarious. Honest. I was lucky enough to see Jennifer Jasper’s opening night performance of I Can Hear You...But I’m Not Listening on Thursday at Theatre of Note in Hollywood. The show is a collection of family stories about Jennifer Jasper, (the middle daughter of five girls) who didn’t talk until she was three and when she finally did, no one could understand what she said. Not even her mother. It was a fun, dysfunctional, sometimes dark, and bold ride. Just like family. You should see this show to witness how beautifully Jennifer paints vivid pictures with words. This girl obviously reads a lot. Review continues at www.myonepersonshow.com... full review

Jennifer was raw, bold, brave and then all of a sudden vulnerable. It was a joy to go through her story with her. Thank you for sharing!... full review
