My overall impression
Moby Alpha is the most creative show I have yet seen at the Fringe. Their adaptation of Moby Dick in futuristic outer space was totally believable, even natural. Though there are only two performers, they weave a rather intricate plot, each performer playing at least 5 different roles (I lost track)! Despite the complexity, their excellent acting and character work combined with their brilliant use of space helmet lighting (you’ve got to see it to understand) made the plot development crystal clear. Bravo!!
