My overall impression

Greg Abbott’s Darlene: Four Feet From Crazy is a complete delight. A sequel, of sorts, to Greg’s show The Viola Mountain Door Company, it’s a much more intimate portrait of a small town inhabitant who may or may not be off her rocker. Darlene regales the audience with stories about her family and friends (and enemies) while trying to get her lost cat out of a tree, that are alternately hilarious and touching. Greg Abbott creates a very memorable character with a dry wit that is second to none. You don’t have to have seen the original show to enjoy this one. This show is a guaranteed good time at the theatre!
