Star-Cross'd

My overall impression

I didn’t know what I was walking into for ‘Star Crossed’ – I felt like the show had the potential of being awesome, sadly it never fully got me. There were moments that felt sloppy and forced – you could see this young company trying but it felt like it was missing some heart. There are some beautiful dance pieces but felt a little claustrophobic when the whole ensemble was on stage, perhaps a larger space would give the actors (dancers?) room to stretch out and really move and feel the story they are telling.
