Review by MICHAEL RICCIO

June 21, 2014 certified reviewer

My overall impression

I want to bury my testimony is beautifully and brutally honest. Scott Hislop performs a well-formed and admirable testimony on who he is and how he got there. We all have things in our lives that we want to “metaphorically bury”, it’s just a matter of gaining the courage and wherewithal to actually do it. No matter who you are, or where you are in your life this show will inspire you to be you. Scott leaves it all on stage without bias. Eloquent, funny, Relevant and profoundly intelligent.
Directed with such creative flare. Kelleia Sheerin’s sharp eye definitely showed through well constructed transitions and staging that captured past and present events with ease.
He speaks, he teaches, he sings, and he dances. His whole life up until now in one entertaining and enlightening hour. If you get the chance – I’d go.
