My overall impression
Though rough around the edges, the message came thru loud and clear – sexist and ageist discrimination is rampant even for female megastars such as Marilyn. Sandy Mansson’s 21st Century Marilyn showed her growing frustration as she realized that no one knew or cared who she was. Her closing rant on ageing male vs female actors was right on. A definite “must see” for those who think discrimination is a myth and a welcome portrayal for those who have faced discrimination.
