My overall impression
This is definitely a play for the silver hairs, and just might be a Fringe Hit. Although Sandy Mansson is a bit clumsy as an aged Marilyn who is clueless that everything and everyone that she is familiar with in Hollywood is either old or nonexistent, the truth and commitment to a modern day Marilyn rates high on the richter scale of Marilyn portrayals. Albeit an older and out of touch Marilyn. The direction was also a bit clumsy as well as the technical execution but overall the show was “cute” and “delicate” and declares a problem with modern day Hollywood when elderly actresses can’t get a job. I say go and see it at least once.
