My overall impression
Out of four stars, this one’s a five. Probably more like six or seven. Ok, let’s say it, this one goes to eleven. Whether or not you’re an actor, (or play one on tv!), or know one, or ever have known one, or, come to think of it, ever have known another human being with hopes, heartbreak, or, most likely, a combination of both — Richard Tanner’s small PARTS will resonate with you long after you’ve left the theatre, probably holding your stomach ‘cause it still hurts from laughing. You’ll be thinking about what it means to live fully, to commit yourself fully to what you know you were born to do. And when I say “you”, I mean…all of us (inside joke there, for all who’ve seen the show) Intelligent, honest, life-observing, life-celebrating TRUTH, laughter and tears, delivered by a master craftsman by the name of Richard Tanner. There is not a person on this planet who won’t come away from this show enriched. En-Richarded! Long live “small PARTS” !!
