My overall impression
Small PARTS was performed by a BIG actor! Excellent writing, direction, pacing, timing, lighting and story. This play is a moving and highly entertaining portrayal of an actor’s endurance through years of personal sacrifice and longing for artistic recognition, or even just to make a good living. Richard Tanner gives a voice to the countless thousands of unheralded artists who have sacrificed so much and wondered why. His humor, tenacity, desire and passion creates a compelling and relatable tale of never giving up on the dream, indignities be damned. I think he’s made it, after all!!
