I got so many laughs out of "Small Parts." Tanner's character is the "everyman" for Hollywood, someone we can all relate to. Paced and structured to keep the audience engaged, he comes full-circle at the end, weaving his personal and family sentiments into the fabric of his career, destiny, and artistic drive.
