Small parts was very cleverly structured with great direction and productions values that often got their own laughs and really funny moments by Richard Tanner who created a story about an actors life that the civilian public might not know much about. ... full review

Just saw Richard Tanner's SMALL PARTS, which I really enjoyed .it could be the story of any actor and yet is told uniquely as only Richard could tell it..and he is a great story teller. Don't miss it.... full review

Richard Tanner's 'Small Parts' is a poignant well paced one man show. I really enjoyed the performance, in telling his story of the trials and years in acting he touches on universal themes of choosing a profession you love, weather or not that choice is the most practical or easy, something many of us ponder over the years. The show takes us through time from the 80's to today in a crisply paced, succinctly written enjoyable trip through his life.... full review

Richard T. is a master at sucking an audience into his world . Just a few adjectives that come to mind - 'charming', 'hysterical', 'poignant' . As a theater person myself, it was great fun trying to figure out if he's improvising or sticking to the script. Whatever, whoever has any interest in solo performance should get their butt over to the Lounge Theater to see Master Tanner. ... full review

Really worth seeing. Funny. Moving. In all the right ways. This will inspire and entertain. It's a BIG show and worth your time - strong writing. Well performed. Don't let the - do we really need a show about an actor scare you. This one transcends. Did I mention it's really funny too? Counts for a lot... full review

Loved this show! It would be so easy to think, "Oy, a one-man show about being an actor?!" but thinking that would be a huge mistake. It is funny, relevant, beautifully paced, relate-able (even if you're not in show business)and, despite it's light subject matter, has great humanity and depth. Richard Tanner is a huge talent (who has been, sadly, confined to "Small Parts" thus far) and this show is not to be missed... full review
