My overall impression

I truly enjoyed Suzanne Bressler’s “30 is the New 13!” The story was classic and likely one that many can relate to, including people who are not Jewish. It feels like this story would have universal appeal. It was fun, funny and poignant, and all of the actors were superb and really brought the characters to life. The staging and use of the screen to show Skype conversations was also terrific. And the music was excellent.

My husband and I, along with another couple that attended the matinee performance on June 28, left the theatre and spent the rest of the afternoon talking about the play and how it moved each of us. Any art form that has that effect is a winner in my book!
