My overall impression
I loved this show! It was clever and funny, and the performance was so honest and vulnerable. Best of all, it had a lot of heart.
Even though it was sadly amusing (amusingly sad?), it avoided being whiny or maudlin or self-pitying. Ok, maybe a little self-pitying, but only a little, and in a way that made it all the more charming.
Kudos to Amy for a performance that made me really feel for her, even while laughing with her!
