My overall impression
I saw the original production in January, and this is a fun, self-aware version of Twelfth Night with clever double casting and lots of humor. Twelfth Night is one of Shakespeare’s more accessible comedies, so you don’t need to be well-versed in verse to enjoy this one. Being incredibly familiar with this show (having seen it many times and in it once), this is one of my favorite adaptations. Everyone in it is having such a good time that you will, too. Go see!
