In this generation, a good entertainer is able to accomplish the awesome feat of grasping and holding our attention long enough to keep our hands from tweeting, posting, liking, etc. A GREAT entertainer is able to earn our attention during their performance and hold it captive the entire 90 minute drive home, the day after, and even parts of the day after that. Well,
David & Leeman are great entertainers.
They are the quintessential duo, and the epitome of what entertainers aim to be and accomplish.
I’m a great multi-tasker (I’m actually
writing this on the treadmill), but there’s no way I could have been on my phone during their show. My hands were too busy covering my mouth from the audible gasps, shielding my eyes to cover obvious signs of disbelief, and holding my temples from intense concentration on what the hell was going on onstage.
When I wasn’t gasping, I was laughing. When I wasn’t laughing, I was whispering expletives along the lines of “what the [bleep] is going on/ how the [bleep] are they doing this?!” I can’t remember the last time I was so entertained. I would watch it again…and again and again.
