My overall impression
N8 ZWANG is a deceptive hour; you’ll laugh like hell, but the dark undercurrent of the plays sweeps you along in a way that you don’t expect. This is brave theater, exploring some very shadowed places, and all with a twisted smile on its face. Ron Zwang’s PERFECT TEN is a quick, slashing jab at the dating ritual and all it entails; very well written, and very well played. This collaboration of actors and authors in these plays is what the theater experience is about – challenging, and above all else, very entertaining.
