My overall impression
If good art is supposed to transcend the individual experience in order to communicate something fundamental to the human spirit, Flyover State is not only good, it is great. What begins as a domestic black comedy subtly morphs over the course of the show into a surprisingly tender, wry, compassionate and hilarious examination of the tangled webs we weave and the many reasons we find to bother untangling them instead of walking away. A moving and affecting show, highly recommended.
