My overall impression
I had the great pleasure of attending the first performance of the show, with several fellow bronies here in SoCal, and I must say, that we all had a great time, and came away with a great impression of this show.
It is a wonderful performance, featuring great writing and songs, and performed by a small but very dedicated cast of local actors who are clearly passionate about their craft.
Bronies: The Musical tackles some real issues that might hit very close to home for some, and it manages to address all of these topics with clever wit and delivery, and always does so with a wonderful sense of positivity and optimism. Bronies: The Musical does a great job of sincerely depicting the reasons and motivations behind why so many have been drawn to the pony fandom in the first place, while also explaining what the the fandom is all about, to those who are not yet familiar with it.
I would highly recommend Bronies: The Musical if you can make it out to one of the performances. It’s a great show with a lot of heart, and done by some really awesome and very talented people.
