My overall impression

This was a real treat. I laughed constantly. I was interested in the characters and wanted them to come out happy on the other side. Well… most of them anyway. But the most important thing is that I was pulled in and cared so much about the story revealing itself that I was having involuntary physical reactions to it.

The talented playwright, Mr. Baruch, puts forth some theories about the ways in which heterosexual men in close friendships relate to each other that I don’t think most heterosexual men would agree are true to life… but in the end, it doesn’t matter in this show. It’s entertaining and rich enough that quibbles with the logic of it all really fade into the background. This is story about people. Several of which you will recognize all to well from your own lives. It’s smart, funny, well-written, well-acted, the design is great (watch how well they handle the bar sequence in the first scene), and clearly staged.

All in all- hell yeah. Go see “No Homo”, ya Homos.
