I love a good Hollywood satire and Patrick Mulvihill’s “History of the Biz” is as funny as I’ve seen. Equal parts “The Simpsons,” “The Player” and Mel Brooks’s “History of the World” this new play is clever, fast-paced, and so sharp that I would gladly sit through another hour. It’s filled with songs, jokes, and a broad spectrum of references – I may have been the only person in the audience laughing at the Ben Johnson joke. The cast is superb as they dance, sing and channel Shakespeare, David Mamet and even Andrew Lloyd Weber. That’s entertainment!
