My overall impression
The incomparable Steve Altman serves as a hilarious tour guide through the past five hundred years of showbiz. Mulvihill has a fine ear for dialogue and the finely crafted scenes
Highlights include Bryan Okes Fuller as an intensely passionate, if outwardly repressed Kruschev, and the third act musical piece which blend widely different genres into a piece that shouldn’t work, but melds together effortlessly.
