About the Project
Come hear the Salsa Poet tell stories of the Salsa nightclubs with all their characters and rhythms. She incorporates singing, dancing and a lot of raca taca ta! in her performance. Opening with a professional Salsa dance performance. Salsa after-party with DJ Tito El Guayaco. All are welcome! Homemade Mexican food and drinks served. The Salsa Poet has been called vulnerable, inspiring and original. She is an award-winning, published poet who has been featured at poetry venues throughout Los Angeles. She has published two chapbooks of her poems.
