My overall impression

Zombies From the Beyond, the 1950’s sci-fi spoof directed by Dan Spurgeon, is so hilarious that I already saw it twice! I enjoyed the meticulous details- lighting, great choreography, live music, creative set, realistic make-up, fifties and zombie costumes, even the sculptural wigs. The actors/singers/dancers are extremely talented. Enthusiastic Lara Fisher (secretary, Charlie) has a great stage presence, a great singing voice as well as wonderful-to-watch facial expressions and impeccable comedic timing. Alex Taber’s atomic feet are just that. Zombina’s (Alison England) acting and voice are superb. Rick (Eric Sand) is a terrific singer and dancer. Major Malone (Frank Blocker), Mary (Ameilia Gotham), and Trenton (Daniel Jimenez) are also terrific, all are very well cast. Kudos to everyone involved in the production. Great fun for all ages. Not only was I entertained, I learned a lot about science and mind control.
