My overall impression
In the late 60s, after you’ve lived your life as though the personal was political, how do you begin to separate them? And can you? While her play takes a while to fully grapple with its theme, Kimba Henderson is helped by a fine cast and strong performances, especially from Jantonio Bague and Bernadette Speakes as her leads, Derrex Brady’s simmering Black Panther and Raphael Corkhill’s hyper-active hippie.
