My overall impression
The house was packed full when I saw Egomaniac – A Poetic Incantation and it was incredible to see how captivated everyone was throughout the entire performance (myself included, of course). What a powerful, thought-provoking play. The ensemble is perfection, though I must say that two of the standouts are Esther Mira and Xavier Watson. Their stage presence is amazing and the way they are able to combine the poetic words with the movement is simply beautiful to watch. This type of performance is exactly what the Fringe is all about! If you haven’t seen Egomaniac yet, what are you waiting for?! Egomaniac will get you thinking deeply about relationships and maybe even how you’ve handled your own relationships in the past. It will keep you engrossed and on the edge of your seat the entire time. One of the best things I’ve seen at Fringe!
