The greater the synchronization between actor and character, the less the actor needs to “perform” emotion. The body’s tempo, reactions, pauses, breathing, and rhythm already begin to reveal the character.
Even when speaking the same line, one character reacts instantly, another responds a beat later, while another intentionally creates pauses to hide emotion. Those differences become personality. They are people who live inside the character’s rhythm of time and response.
This workshop explores how organic inner life becomes visible through the body, and how actors can achieve complete character synchronization through physical rhythm, reaction, breath, and presence.
