What I liked
The piece was nicely staged and the actors all gave committed and accomplished performances. The comedy was gentle but very funny. There was a clear narrative and a clear character arc for the main character. There was a brilliant surprise in the second half of the play which really up-ed the energy!
What I didn't like
The only tiny quibble I had with this charming show – and this is very minor as the actress gave a fantastic performance – was that Hattie’s accent felt very slightly off. It didn’t detract from how much I enjoyed the show overall.
My overall impression
This is a great little show! Well acted and well put together. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
