I loved the depth that was mined in 50 minutes. This is a wonderfully compact, precise and thoughtful production. I find that some new plays can be about shocking the audience for the sake of shocking them, this one is about challenging the audience in an effort to get us all to look a little deeper at our partnerships, but most importantly at ourselves. It was such a sweet look at finding yourself through your loved ones, and at the same time didn’t sugar coat anything. It was painful, poignant, funny and sweet. Well done!
I also just loved that the writer’s goal was about encouraging us as an audience to examine things in our own lives. It’s a really lovely invitation and important that we center the audience as theatre makers (not just ourselves!!)
