Survival of the Filthiest: The Totally Wild, Queer, & Salacious Science of Sex

I saw “Survival of the Filthiest: The Totally Wild, Queer, & Salacious Science of Sex” last weekend. Unfortunately, as I have aged I find it to be rare for anything to really make me laugh anymore and therefore avoid a lot of live shows so I don’t Debbie Downer the whole audience. So imagine my bliss when I found myself laughing hysterically throughout this entire show. At the top of the show, Natalia mentioned that it is 75 minutes & not 60 as it was listed. But I loved it so much that I was bummed the time seemed to have passed far too quickly. Natalia is not only a comedian, but is a Biological Anthroplogist as well. Natalia is an amazing communicator and so entertaining. More people need to see this show, and beyond that, to check out all the other things Natalia does. If you're interested in science, sex, the science of sex, or animals (not necessarily in that order), then you will not be disappointed by this show. A puppet CLITORIS should be enough to get you there. Great great Fringe show! So unique, so informative while so damn fun and silly, while she clearly knows her sh!t! I really loved Natalias presence on stage. She difficult not to look at and feel captivated by. Great personality, extremely likable, obviously fun. + Educational lol Also, sharing her passion for a career so uncommon to the average person made me instantly engage and be along for a ride.... full review

This is a comedic scientific TED talk. It is not sexy, despite what the show art might have you believe. But what it is, is a brilliant, funny, informative and interesting lecture on the nature of sex in the world. Super interesting and well worth your time if you’re a science nerd. ... full review
