The villain, Seizure, is fantastically realized. Amir Levy shines in the role, providing some dark humor as Seizures torment poor Abby. The entire cast have very good voices, Rachel Kellum in particular. I liked the ending and the overall message is really beautiful.
What I didn't like
It may have been the late-night show I went to, but most of the cast seemed low-energy to me. I like the lyrics, but the libretto has room for improvement. Characters say exactly what they are thinking as they’re thinking it, and most tensions are resolved shortly after they’re introduced.
My overall impression
A heartwarming musical featuring great songs and made with a lot of love!
