What I liked
I liked that an incredible story and the artistic expression through acting and song could be successfully achieved within a short window and low budget props. The actor playing Abby has an incredible voice!
What I didn't like
Abby’’s costume could be improved. Seizure’s costume was fantastic, making Abby’s look a bit sloppy in comparison. Fortunately, Abby’s acting and singing was top notch so it ultimately didn’t matter.
My overall impression
I found myself grasping my hands and heart as we moved through the musical! It was a beautiful portrayal of love, perseverance and growing up with challenges, specifically of the medical challenges of epilepsy. This disease needs more exposure and funding for scientific research. I’m grateful Sandra Cruze took a chance and produced this incredible artistic, entertaining and informative production.
