Puppetry, acting, singing the clever writing, the meta moments of the real artists, the camaraderie of the entire ensemble. It felt like literal magic.
What I didn't like
I just want them to have so much more money to make even MORE set designs and a longer production!
My overall impression
The amount this show made me believe in art again was … an enormous amount. The acting, singing, story, puppetry… I felt like I was a kid again, and as much as I laughed, I also felt permission to color outside the lines in my own adult life. I would see this show as many times as they’d let me, and I have a parasocial relationship with Klaus now. I don’t make the rules.
