I loved that each character had a unique plot and something they had to overcome during the show. It made it easy to be invested in everyone’s storyline. I also loved how you could watch the other character’s storyline progress even if the spotlight/dialogue wasn’t on them at the time. The singer character’s performance and pitch was absolutely perfect- she was such a pleasure to listen to and I thought it added just the right amount of whimsy to the show.
What I didn't like
A lot of the vocal delivery throughout the show was fairly monotonous and took me out of the story a bit.
My overall impression
You can tell that a lot of love and care went into this show. Everyone who was there wanted to be there and gave it their all. It’s always special to watch a group of people join together and collectively present something fun and heartfelt! While a play about an acid trip is not something I would usually gravitate towards personally, I found myself really invested in the plot and the outcome.
