What I liked
The descriptions of the horrible aspects of slavery in the US. We learn about it in history but this is so much more real.
What I didn't like
The narrative could have moved at a little faster pace but still it was excellent.
My overall impression
Truly moving story about a black figure who worked so hard to protect his fellow slaves on his plantation.
