What I liked
I loved the clever script and the fantastic actors who had me thoroughly engaged and feeling for the characters the whole time. I also loved the creative use of the entire space which made me feel actively engaged from beginning to end.
What I didn't like
Honestly, I can’t think of anything. Parking was a bit challenging, but we were prepared for that thanks to the very helpful and much appreciated messages received prior to the show.
My overall impression
Leaving Shakespeare was a cleverly written play that had me captivated, laughing, entertained, and feeling from the heart from start to finish. Bringing Shakespeare’s characters into present day and imagining what could have been and what could be now was brilliant, and the actors were outstanding in bringing the characters to life. I’m already looking forward to the next creative work by Dana Beardsley Crotwell!
