What I liked
I loved the clever dialogue with references to what women face from Shakespeare to modern times, variety of the characters’ emotions and movement around the entire stage and beyond.
What I didn't like
I enjoyed all of it!
My overall impression
Leaving Shakespeare thoughtfully weaves the stories of women who re-tell their truth with humor, passion and a refusal to accept history’s version of their lives. Dana Crotwell gives Shakespeare’s women a well deserved voice!
