What I liked
I thoroughly enjoyed Sibling Joey’s performance and how they interacted with the audience. The show kept a great pace and never felt slow or repetitive. I was entertained from start to finish and left with plenty to think about afterward. And, yes, I was inspired to delete some social media!
What I didn't like
There was one part involving audience participation that I really enjoyed and would have liked a bit more of, but no spoilers!
My overall impression
The Church of Delete Your Account was humorous, informative, and incredibly relatable. Sibling Joey, the writer and performer, draws you in with a great mix of humor, insight, and personal connection. They encouraged audience participation, which made the experience even more engaging. I was entertained from beginning to end and found myself laughing while also reflecting on the ideas being shared. It’s definitely a fun and worthwhile experience that has stayed with me long after it ended. Be ready to become a congregant!
