The hardest I've laughed all Fringe and my runaway favorite show. Shockingly faithful to the original movie - down to the costumes and the Amy Poehler cadence of speaking - but somehow even more exciting, with creative staging that floods the whole venue and creates an extremely immersive experience. “What if Wet Hot American Summer” was “Rock of Ages?” You get a much, much funnier Rock of Ages. I came to this show as a mega-fan of the movie, and was not disappointed. I’m not big on jukebox musicals, but this totally show works. Fabulously talented cast, shout out to the producers and the director/choreographer. From a technical standpoint, the room was vibrant and immersed me from start to finish. Great costumes and wigs that looked straight out of the movie. I talked to folks after who had not seen the movie, and they loved the show too, which I think is a great sign. This could be a hit. ... full review

This is why I come to Fringe! Cherry Poppins always brings solid musical comedy, and this show is no exception. A love letter to the original movie, it delivers the perfect amount of camp, rock and roll vocals, killer choreo, and laugh out loud antics.
