My overall impression
In Development is an engaging and heartfelt exploration of an artist’s journey, brought to life through a cast of memorable characters skillfully written and portrayed by Johnny Cannizzaro. Balancing humor, vulnerability, and inspiration, the production offers an authentic look at the creative process and the human experience. Cannizzaro’s writing is sharp, honest, and deeply relatable, making for an enjoyable and thought-provoking evening of theater. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to following both the future of this work and Cannizzaro’s career as a writer and performer.
