My overall impression
If you’re an actor you must go see Johnny Cannizzaro’s “In Development” as part of The Fringe Festival.
It’s funny, insightful, powerful…not your typical one man show or collection of scenes. In between each scene, which he’s written, he engages with the audience and talks about his journey as an artist and there is Absolute Gold in the insights and experiences he shares. I’ve never seen anything like it! I was so moved that instead of going to a friends gathering afterward I went straight home so I could ponder and wrestle with some of the things that it brought up for me. Ultimately, he has given me a greater understanding of why we go through what we do in our pursuit of the art of acting and story telling in the face of significant odds.
Johnny is an incredibly Talented, Born to Entertain!, and all around Lovely human being! Thank You for creating this heartfelt, beautifully poignant piece!!!
