What I liked
The set design, the thought that went into the audience experience. The performers the show as a whole
What I didn't like
Maybe tightened up a little ? Trying to be critical here because there’s so much good
Maybe Johnny can relax a little physically
He’s constantly moving which is part of his process and character maybe sometimes he can move around a little too much ?
Again, trying to find something I don’t like or think can be improved isn’t going to be easy – but that’s my two cents on that.
My overall impression
I’m just gonna vomit: I loved it. It was so earnest in the best of ways. Sometimes as an actor it can get a little gag inducing to listen to another actor talk about process and characters but so much work and love and honesty went in to this it was impossible for me not to relate and be moved and impressed and entertained. Really really strong work
