What I liked
It was wonderful to watch Johnny navigate the awkward exchanges with the various women his characters encountered. The universal message of “Who are you and who do you want to be?” kept poking its head into every scene. That’s what art is supposed to do…make us ponder deep questions.
Special shout out to the touching moment with Johnny’s mom and Johnny’s beautiful piano playing!!
The Hollywood Women’s Club is gorgeous! I’m happy to learn about it and see it’s being renovated.
What I didn't like
Some moments it was difficult to hear some of the ladies’ voices.
My overall impression
Johnny is a brilliant writer and solid actor who has combined several of his creations to construct this evening of laughter and heartstring tugs.
