I cried. I laughed a lot. It so brilliantly captures the naivety (if we're being less generous, ignorance) most of us are raised up in, when it comes to the concept of gender. The innocence and insistence upon defending the version of the world Banana Man grew up in humanizes the people who have the hardest time understanding nonbinary gender, while also challenging them in a way that somehow feels wholesome while simultaneously not pulling punches.... full review
