What I liked
Ari’s performance style was so fluid-everytime they switched characters the difference in voice and physicality was obvious but not too overstated. They just flowed so effortlessly between the characters without awkward bumps in between them.
The visual style of the entire show was also very specific and unified across all design areas-as a craftsman I really loved this piece.
What I didn't like
Sightlines to some of the pedestals were a bit obstructed by rows in front of me-all the puppets were so pretty and the character work was so good that I just wanted to see everything clearer!
My overall impression
Had a great time. Simple but effective queer allegories with a super engaging performance from Ari!
