I enjoyed how different the setting and characters of the play are in comparison to what’s common in theater lately. The play felt politically alive but also character driven — with subplots and a wide array of personalities being stuck in the same room together. Each character being so different from one another made it very interesting to see them interact and respond to the same circumstances: they are all suffering and trying to make enough money to survive.
What I didn't like
Sometimes pace and dialogue felt repetitive, when used as a comedic tool it worked but careful not to overuse.
My overall impression
Set in an unique setting of a dispatch center for limousine and vehicle drivers, the play gives us insight into the lives and perspective of the workers who are deeply affected by the entertainment industry and world as a whole. Witty, dark humor, and deeply politically involved.
