The interlocking nature of the narrative was compelling, select performances both nuanced and captivating (Lydia Tinsley as Willow is the stand-out), and the overall production value top-notch.
What I didn't like
Some difficulty hearing the actors, which led to confusion regarding the action of the story and how the scenes fit together. There were also select characters that felt a bit underdeveloped from a script perspective.
My overall impression
A thought-provoking and powerful portrait of how far we’ve fallen as a country and society in such a short window of time. Perfectly humanizes and and captures
all the ways our political moment impacts us all, across race, gender, and class, but without straying into didacticism or condescension. A stunning piece of dramatic theatre.
