What I liked
I really enjoyed how the show balanced humor with the heavier themes of ambition, power, and guilt without losing the emotional core of the story. The cast brought great energy to the production, and there were several moments that were both genuinely funny and surprisingly poignant. A smart, entertaining reimagining!
What I didn't like
A few transitions could be smoothed out, but I saw the preview performance, so I have faith they will smooth out over time! Plus, the actors handled them well and the inventive storytelling more than made up for it.
My overall impression
Fun & clever take on Lady Macbeth’s side of the story! The fresh perspective made a familiar tale feel new, and the writing found creative ways to humanize Lady Macbeth while still embracing her complexity.
